Good ride today. Pam’s support stops are key to our success. Eating at an awesome steakhouse in Van Horn, TX. It’s called the Van Horn Cattle company. Best meal yet! We are riding roads that parallel the interstate. Sad to see towns that died when the interstate went through. These are tough hard working people who are kind. I am eating homemade butter pecan ice cream at the steakhouse. It’s pretty amazing. Amy can out cycle me and that is a fact. It’s gonna be in the 30s tomorrow morning. What the heck?
30’s? Layer up. I think those steak houses in Texas and Oklahoma have some of the best food. A friend and I connected with high school friends in Oklahoma City and they treated us to dinner at Cattlemen’s Steakhouse they’re in their historic Stockyards City. Pecan ice cream sounds delicious, especially after your ride!
